Next week is Multicultural Week at Delia. This is a time to celebrate our cultures and learn about each other. On Wednesday, students may wear traditional cultural dress to school.
We are having a Multicultural Festival on Friday November 16th for the students. All students need to prepare something to bring into school that represents their culture. Parents may help their children with this as it is not being graded. Students can choose a variety of things to bring in, but they must know why this item is important to their culture. We are looking for more traditional items, not modern items such as snack foods or modern toys. Students will be explaining this item to their teachers and classmates.
I have posted a Google slide on the Homeroom Google Classroom which explains this event. Ask you child to show you the Google Slide if you would like to know more in order to help your child prepare.
Thanks and have a great day!
